I dwell in birds’ eyes in search of you — Heading to Qiandongnan
First Stop — Kaili · Langde Miao Village
Langde Miao Village (usually referring to Langde Shangzhai, or "Upper Langde") is located in Leishan County, in the Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou Province. This is an ancient Miao village first established in the late Yuan and early Ming dynasties, with over 600 years of history. It is also a National Key Cultural Heritage Site and a "Hometown of Chinese Folk Art.”
Heading deep into the mountains of Qiandongnan, unbroken swaths of green rush into view, and the air is thick with a humidity that never quite dissolves. The sky is a hazy blue-gray, veiled as if in gauze, with mist drifting along the contours of the mountains. Round a bend, and Langde Shangzhai lies quietly nestled within this green expanse.
The twelve rounds of "gate-blocking wine" are the ritual for entering the village — the sweet, cool rice wine goes down along with the mountain air's chill, unable to hold back the simple warmth in the elder women's eyes. The bluestone paths gleam, polished by the misty rain, while stilted wooden houses rise in tiers up the mountainside, and the sound of the lusheng pipes drifts in on the wind.
The entire village dresses in festival finery — the girls twirl lightly in dance, their silver ornaments chiming softly, weaving together with song into the gentlest rhythm of the village. There is no bustling clamor, only the slow, unhurried flow of everyday life and warmth.
People from all corners of the world join hands, shoulder to shoulder, immersing themselves together in this bonfire feast — the fervor of summer growing even more intense in this moment.
Second Stop — Xingyi
Wanfeng Lin (Ten Thousand Peaks Forest) is China's largest and most representative karst peak forest. The mountains, shaped like steamed bread mounds, feel more approachable than other mountains.
Xingyi on a rainy day is like an ink-wash painting — the peak forest's silhouette shifts continuously within the mist, with mountains near and far layered and reshaped by the fog, their boundaries blurring.
The eye cannot settle steadily on any single peak, but instead completes its viewing through constant movement.
Unlike the clear structure of a sunny day, Wanfeng Lin after rain feels closer to an "unfinished" state. The landform itself is re-orchestrated by the humidity, presenting a softer kind of order.
Malinghe Waterfall here bears no excessive ornamentation — only the primal, wild traces left behind by mountain-building forces. The over 70-kilometer canyon reads like an open geological history book. Walking along the suspended plank walkways, above you are cliffs as sheer as if cut by blade and axe; below, a bottomless jade-green depth. Most striking of all are the waterfalls cascading down from the sky.
It happens to be the rainy season now, with over a hundred waterfalls pouring down at once — like ten thousand galloping horses, mist filling the air. Sunlight cuts through the spray, and a rainbow rises right at your feet. In that moment, you feel how small humanity is, and how great nature is. Passing through the water-curtain cave, droplets strike your face, cool and utterly real. This is not scenery seen through a filter — it is nature in its most authentic form.
Third Stop — Guiyang · Morning Market and Qianling Mountain's “Malou"
After arriving in Guiyang, the city's rhythm shifts noticeably.
The morning market is the most direct gateway into this city's way of life.
Following the locals into the Qianling Mountain food market, the stalls cluster densely along the streets and alleys — with no obvious planning, yet always maintaining a stable, everyday order. Crowds weave through, and sounds, smells, and the structure of the food all intertwine, forming a deeply local scene of daily life.
Qianling Mountain is a free-admission city park, and one of Guiyang's most iconic everyday public spaces.
It sits at the heart of the city, yet holds within it the structure of forested mountains, an ancient temple, and a lake. Green hills encircle it, incense smoke and shade intertwine, and it forms a subtle buffer zone between city and nature.
In local parlance, there's a common saying: "Half of Guiyang's elegance and beauty lies within Qianling."
Because their space overlaps so closely with human activity, these macaques are also nicknamed "malou" by tourists, becoming one of Qianling Mountain's most recognizable natural symbols.

第一站——凯里 · 朗德苗寨
郎德苗寨（通常指郎德上寨）位于贵州省黔东南苗族侗族自治州雷山县，这是一个始建于元末明初、拥有600多年历史的古老苗族村寨，也是全国重点文物保护单位和“中国民间艺术之乡”。
往黔东南的群山深处走，连绵的翠色撞进眼底，风里裹着化不开的湿润。天是蒙着薄纱的青灰，云雾顺着山形漫流，转过一道弯，郎德上寨就安安静静卧在这片青绿里。
十二道拦门酒是入寨的仪式，清甜的米酒混着山间凉气入喉，挡不住阿婆们眼里质朴的热忱。青石板路被烟雨润得发亮，吊脚楼依山层叠，芦笙声顺着风漫过来
全村的人身着盛装的，姑娘们身影轻旋起舞，银饰轻响，与歌声交织成寨子里最温柔的韵律。没有熙攘的喧闹，只有烟火气慢悠悠地淌。
来自五湖四海的人手牵着手，肩搭着肩，一起沉浸在这场篝火盛宴中热烈的夏天，在此刻更加热烈。
第二站——兴义
万峰林，国内最大最典型的喀斯特峰林。窝窝头一般的山，比别的山更亲人。
雨天的兴义就是水墨画，峰林在水汽中呈现出不断变化的轮廓，远近层叠的山体被雾气分割与重组，边界变得模糊。
视线无法稳定停留在某一座山峰之上，而是在不断移动中完成观看。
与晴天的清晰结构不同，雨后的万峰林更接近一种“未完成”的状态。地貌本身被湿度重新调度，呈现出更柔和的秩序。
马岭河瀑布，这里没有过度的修饰，只有造山运动留下的原始与野性。 70多公里的峡谷，像一本摊开的地质史书。 走在悬空的栈道上，抬头是刀削斧劈般的绝壁，低头是深不见底的碧绿。最震撼的莫过于那些从天而降的瀑布。
此时正值雨季，上百条瀑布同时倾泻，万马奔腾，水雾漫天。 阳光穿过水雾，彩虹就在脚边升起。 那一刻，你会觉得人类很渺小，自然很伟大。穿过水帘洞，水珠打在脸上，清凉又真实。 这不是滤镜下的风景，是大自然最本真的模样。
第三站--贵阳 · 早市与黔灵山“吗喽”
抵达贵阳后，城市的节奏明显发生变化。
早市，是最直接进入这座城市生活方式的入口。
跟着本地人钻进黔灵山菜市场，摊位密集分布在街巷之间，没有明显规划感，但始终保持着一种稳定的日常秩序。人流穿行其间，声音、气味与食物结构交织在一起，构成非常本地化的生活现场。
黔灵山是一座免门票的城市公园，也是贵阳最典型的日常公共空间之一。
它位于城市中心，却同时具备山林、古刹与湖泊的结构。青山环绕，香火与绿荫交织，使它在城市与自然之间形成一种微妙的缓冲地带。
在本地语境中，常有“一座贵阳城，半座灵秀在黔灵”的说法。
由于与人类活动空间高度重叠，这些猕猴也被游客称为“吗喽”，成为黔灵山最具辨识度的自然符号之一。
