This year is my 7th year in the foreign trade industry. When it comes to serving customers, I still have some experience.
First of all, maintain a serious and responsible work attitude, be responsive, and reply in a timely manner.
Secondly, maintain professionalism. For the questions raised by guests, don’t simply answer "Yes or No," but prove them through facts and provide additional options for guests to choose. For example, a few days ago, the size of the natural plants in the factory's large shipment was obviously much smaller than the confirmed sample. The customer was very angry and asked us to solve the problem immediately. The reason is that, in the absence of stock, the plant used immature pea seedlings, resulting in differences with the sample. I explained to the guest after knowing the normal growth cycle of pea shoots and the current purchasing situation and offered other alternatives. This is far better than saying, "Sorry, we can't do it."
Moreover, communicating with guests is also very important. If you don't know, ask, don't hide it, and don't speculate about what the guests think. Instead, foreign friends prefer direct dialogue. Simply put, it is real-time reporting, so that guests can communicate more effectively.
Then, from the perspective of the customer, understand the real needs of the guests, create more favorable conditions for them. For example, in the sample delivery phase find and propose the possible problems in the large orders with timely solutions to the design of products in advance of packaging and so on.
Finally, treat your guests as friends. After work, I would share my life with some clients, such as the photos I have taken recently, the places I plan to go next, etc. They would also be happy to share their current situation, which then brings us closer together. An interesting thing happened at the Spring Canton Fair, the year before last. The guests came to me and she told me that she was going to get married soon and asked me if I had found a lover.
